When the gates to the Hell over Valhalla OpenAir open again on August 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m., we’ll be celebrating a small anniversary: For the fifth time, the Pavillon Pfunds will transform into a gathering place for enthusiastic visitors from near and far. What makes this year special: a true “Tyrolean Special”—all the bands hail from Tyrol and will impressively demonstrate just how diverse and vibrant the regional metal scene is.
Lineup:
- Joining the lineup is the internationally acclaimed band Perchta, who will be performing their only Austrian show of the year exclusively in Pfunds. The band blends melodic black metal with Alpine mysticism, weaving natural and traditional sounds with lyrics in the local dialect—inspired by the legend of Frau Percht—into an atmospheric mix.
- Hailing from the Tyrolean Oberland is the thrash metal combo Silius. Active since 2013, they have already performed at major festivals such as Wacken and Nova Rock. Their raging thrash sound delivers pure energy and concentrated live power.
- Fallen Apart brings heavier core elements to the stage: Founded in 2016, this Tyrolean metalcore band combines modern intensity with classic metal and thrash influences and is known for raw, direct live shows.
- Greyback will open the evening. They combine melodic death metal with thrash intensity and dark black metal nuances. Since its founding in 2018, the group has made a name for itself as a powerful live band.
- The local blackened death metal band Jesajah will once again close out this year’s Hell over Valhalla OpenAir with an intense stage presence and dark aesthetics.
Specials:
- Hexerei Tattoo brings dark tattoo art in the style of medieval, sinister engravings and traditional motifs—black metal that gets under your skin.
- Metal gets under your skin at the Piercing Station, too: Kristin Rieger from the Ink Club Landeck has her needles ready and looks forward to adorning you with new metal jewelry.
- Skate’n’Roll Cult Pfunds: The skaters provide the fun we love. Michelin-starred chef Weiny serves up culinary highlights for the discerning metalhead palate, and the bar offers cold beer and much more.
The Hell over Valhalla OpenAir is weatherproof thanks to the venue’s roofing. Rain or starry night—the party goes on.
Skål—we look forward to seeing you!
